Opulence is the largest of our function rooms and it does not disappoint! Ideal for large conferences, networking events and corporate dinners, the room is flexible and can be set up to accommodate your every need. Tall windows and a high ceiling provide an abundance of natural light which highlights the oak panelling and contemporary décor, this room is bound to be a talking point.

Galleries is one of our upstairs meeting rooms, adjacent to our main function room, Opulence. This makes it a perfect breakout room when using Opulence for your main function. Galleries is a secluded and private room, set away from the main body of the hotel, perfect for hosting intimate meetings or conferences. The room is bright and airy with lofty ceilings and maintains original features, creating an inspiring setting for your event.

Magistrates / Chambers

These two mirror rooms are the smaller of our function rooms, the only difference being access to Bar Sixteen through Magistrates, ideal for functions that require a separate breakout area. The rooms are an ideal size for training, formal meetings and interviews. They have been delicately restored to their original beauty, blending contemporary style with the historic charm of the building. Large windows create an abundance of natural light which is complimented by high ceilings, feature fireplaces and exclusive local artwork.

Firstly, to all our wonderful guests we are delighted to welcome you back to the hotel!

As per the roadmap guidelines, all bookings are by appointment only.

Please ring the bell on the main door to the right and we will come to meet you to register you in.

The following measures have been adopted to ensure your safety are our priority:

Track and trace together with our QR location code being available on entry, please kindly will all guests register on entry to the building. Hand Sanitizers and anti-bacterial hand washing facilities are in the public areas, entry to the hotel and restaurant together with the wash rooms. Social distancing, we have spaced seating and public areas to ensure a 2m distance is maintained at all times. Hygiene and cleaning procedures are throughout the hotel, touch points are regularly cleaned with sanitizers and recorded. Personal protection equipment will be provided for our guests and staff at all times. Cashless payment facilities and contactless procedures have been adopted within the hotel for your safety. We will provide good ventilation within internal areas and windows, subject to the weather, will be open to ensure good air flow.
